Museums & culture in Barcelona

For a city of its size Barcelona has an unusually dense museum landscape: the Picasso Museum, the MNAC (Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya), CosmoCaixa and the Fundació Joan Miró. Almost all of them sell online tickets through several portals – which means different final prices for the same admission.

One planning note: several Barcelona museums offer free or reduced entry at certain times, for instance the Picasso Museum on some Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. In those cases an online ticket mainly makes sense to skip the queue or secure a fixed time slot.
